A body has been discovered in the hunt for missing Perthshire man Andrew Eadington.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Around 3.20pm on Monday, October 18, officers carrying out searches for a missing man discovered the body of a man in a wooded area at Ruchilside.
“Although formal identification has not yet taken place, officers believe it to be 26-year-old missing man Andrew Eadington and his family has been informed.”
No suspicious circumstances
The spokesman added: “There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Mr Eadington, 26, had been reported missing in the Crieff and Comrie area.
He was last seen in the area of Puggles Wood and South Crieff Road, near Comrie, at around 10.55am on Monday.
Earlier in the day Inspector David Gibson said “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Andrew’s welfare and are keen to trace him as soon as possible.”
