A top Tayside summer flower show boasted a bumper crop of entries this weekend.

The Royal Horticultural Society’s annual Perthshire event was held in the Institute, Bridge of Earn, on Friday and Saturday.

Organisers hail the show a “great success” and said there were increased entries across most classes.

Winners were presented with their prizes by the society’s retiring vice-president Lesley Murison.

The results were:

Royal Horticultural Society Banksian Medal – Exhibitor with the most points in Classes 1 – 115  ( Cut flowers, Pot Plants, Fruit and Vegetables) – Ian Mollison

The Victory Challenge Cup- Awarded to the most outstanding exhibit in Cut Flowers, Pot Plants or Hanging Containers sections – Classes 1 – 70 – Norman Taylor
