A lorry carrying a cargo of shredded paper has caught fire on the A9.
Fire crews rushed to the scene at Killiecrankie shortly after 3pm.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the fire appeared to be within the trailer of the vehicle.
She said: “We were called to a lorry carrying shredded paper at 3.09pm.
“Two retained appliances have attended – one from Pitlochry and one from Dunkeld.
“The fire appears to be smouldering in the back of the lorry so the crews are moving the paper so they can get to it.”
