The Perth Film Society will launch a new season of movies this month.
The autumn line-up will begin with a rare screening of the acclaiming Icelandic comedy Rams in Perth Concert Hall’s Norie-Miller Studio on Thursday, September 8 from 7.45pm.
The season continues with a string of modern classics, including the Berlin-set Victoria, a heist drama filmed in one continuous take.
Other forthcoming attractions include The Assassin, Taxi Tehran and The Legend of Barney Thomson.
Launched in the 1999, the society is run by an enthusiastic group of film lovers with backing from local businesses. The aim is to show movies which are rarely seen in mainstream cinemas.
