A climbing frame at Perth’s South Inch has been destroyed after being engulfed in flames on Friday night.
The 40ft high “spider web” construction was reported to be alight shortly after 8pm.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said one appliance had attended from Perth.
By Saturday morning the structure lay in a pile of charred wood chips, with scorch marks clearly visible at the top and base of the support pole.
