One person is in a serious condition and five more have been injured after a two-vehicle accident on one of Scotland’s most dangerous roads.
Emergency services were called to the A9 at Killiecrankie at around 4pm.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said the road, the main arterial route to the north of Scotland, was closed in both directions.

The crash is understood to have taken place on the northbound carriageway.
Eye witnesses said that there was a heavy emergency services presence in the area.
