A tribute page has been set up in memory of Kathleen Harkin.
The 15-year-old was last seen on the banks of the River Tay, near Woody Island, in North Muirton on Saturday night.
Her phone was found on the island by a member of the public on Sunday morning.
On Monday afternoon a body was pulled from the water at St Madoes. While formal identification is yet to take place, Kathleen’s family have been informed.
By Tuesday morning friends of the teenager were being urged to share their happy memories of her.
The In Memory of Kathleen Harkin Facebook page said: “This is a page in memory of a young girl called Kathleen Harkin who was taken to way to early and this page is to support and grow as many people as possible to show how much she meant to all of us and it won’t just be for us but for Kathleen to see how much people cared about her… fly high Angel.”
