Kathleen Harkin’s family have launched a social media page to try and help trace the missing teenager.
The Get Kathleen Home Facebook page has been liked by more than 1,400 since it was set up in the wake of the 15-year-old’s disappearance.
A post on the page pleaded for anyone with information to come forward.
It said: “Please if anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Kathleen Harkin aged 15 please contact the police or leave a message on this page.
“Any and all help no matter how small will be much appreciated thank you.”
Kathleen’s friends also took to social media to ask her to get in touch.
One said: “Kathleen Harkin pls come home everyone is worried sick.”
Another posted: “Not being able to sleep knowing one of my best friends still hasn’t been found. Kathleen Harkin please go home babe!! Everyone is worried sick!! And we all love you so much.”
A third wrote: “Crazy to think I was speaking to her while she was out then boom she’s gone. I pray they find her.
UPDATE (October 10, 17:30): A female body has been retrieved from the River Tay this afternoon. The identity is as yet unknown.
