The home of The Black Watch in Perth has been shortlisted in the “best visitor attraction” category of a prestigious awards scheme.
The castle and museum are finalists in the inaugural Scottish Outdoor and Leisure Awards.
Castle CEO Anne Kinnes said she was “delighted” by the news.
“It is fabulous for all the team to be recognised for all their hard work, especially this summer when we hosted the Poppies: Weeping Window and have welcomed over 120,000 visitors in 12 weeks,” she said.
“To be nominated by the public is very special and on behalf of all those who voted for us I want to say a very heartfelt thank you.”
The independent judges are now reviewing those on the shortlist and the winners will be revealed at the final at the Doubletree Glasgow Central on Sunday November 27.
This year’s chosen charity partner for the awards is NSPCC who are this year celebrating the 30th anniversary of Childline.
