A teenage girl was taken to hospital by ambulance following an early morning accident in Perth.
On the first day of the schools returning after the October holidays, the rush hour accident involving a car and the teenage pedestrian forced the closure of one of Perth’s busiest roads.
Glasgow Road was blocked following the incident at the junction with Oakbank Road.
Diversions were put in place, causing significant congestion, but the road reopened shortly after 9am.
The extent of the victim’s injuries is not yet known.
