Police investigating the suspected ecstasy overdose of a Perth schoolboy have charged a 17-year-old man.
The youngster, 15, collapsed while out with friends on Friday night and is now fighting for his life in hospital.
Doctors at Ninewells said his condition was “critical but stable.”
Investigators believe the boy and three of his friends fell ill after taking ecstasy.
Police Scotland have now confirmed that a teenager has now been charged “in relation to drugs offences following an incident in Perth over the weekend.”
He is expected to appear from custody at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.
