A series of events to celebrate Book Week Scotland have been announced by Culture Perth and Kinross Libraries.
Libraries in Perth, Crieff, Blairgowrie, Kinross and Auchterarder are taking part in the event, which runs from November 21 to 27. Book Week Scotland is a national celebration of books and reading that brings hundreds of free events to a variety of venues across the country.
Eight events are set to be staged across Perth and Kinross.
Writers set to visit the region include BBC radio Scotland presenter and author Theresa Talbot, children’s book author Keith Brumpton and best-selling crime writer Clare Mackintosh.
Helen Smout, chief executive of Culture Perth and Kinross, said: “We’re delighted to be holding a series of such interesting and varied events at six of our libraries across Perth and Kinross , giving everyone in the community the opportunity to share their love of reading.”
