A two vehicle accident on the M90 at Kinross caused severe delays for motorists.
It is understood two cars collided in the roadworks area at junction 6 shortly before 5pm.
One southbound lane was closed, with traffic “slow moving”.
Motorists were urged to take care when approaching the area.
