Motorists were left rubbing their eyes in disbelief after spotting Batman walking along the A90.
The caped crusader was making his way towards Dundee at rush hour on Tuesday morning.
He was accompanied by “Robin”, in the form of a small black dog.
The strange spectacle is part of a charity walk from Oban to Dundee in aid of Oban Mountain Rescue, which is being undertaken by George Bruce.
Mr Bruce is the brother-in-law of Margaret Ann Rous and her husband David, who were killed in a plane crash while travelling from Dundee to Tiree.
