Perth’s Santa run enjoyed its largest ever turnout with 865 runners taking to the streets for a 5km fun event.
After a quick warm up outside Perth Concert Hall the runners took off on a course which finished on the North Inch.
The third year of the event, every runner received a medal which doubles as a Christmas tree decoration.
“It is a lovely family event, I am just glad it has stayed dry,” said Provost Liz Grant who got the run under way on Saturday.
“The crowds who have turned out to watch should be good for businesses in the city too.”
After the event was over many runners kept their Santa suits on and enjoyed discounts from various retailers.
