A 28-year-old Pitlochry man has denied being responsible for one of the most high profile crimes to take place in Dunkeld for almost three decades.
Ross McNab appeared from custody at Perth Sheriff Court accused of holding-up the town’s Bank of Scotland.
Prosecutors allege he entered the High Street branch on November 29 and stole a money from an employee.
Police Scotland had initially suggested a “three-figure sum” was taken during the raid, but the charge suggested the haul was just £65.
McNab, of Tom Na Moan Road in Pitlochry, denied robbing the bank and was released on bail on the condition he takes part in an identification parade.
