A man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital following an accident near Auchterarder.
The incident took place around 9.20am on Sunday on the A824, two miles north of Auchterarder, and involved one car which ended up in a ditch
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed it was a one-vehicle accident and said the man had a “superficial” minor injury to his head and added it was not serious .
“The man, aged in his 30s, was taken by ambulance to Perth Royal Infirmary,” he said.
“There had been some oil on the road and the car ended up in a ditch.”
He confirmed no one would be facing any criminal charges following the incident.
And a spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they had two appliances, both from Auchterarder, at the scene.
“There was one male casualty, but he was released from the vehicle before we arrived,” he said.
