The busy A94 was closed near Blairgowrie on Friday morning after a car flipped on to its roof.
The blue Ford Fiesta was upturned at the side of the road between Coupar Angus and Woodside, following the single-vehicle crash just after 11am.
Officers say no injuries were reported.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the crash, with witnesses asked to come forward.
She said: “Around 11.10am on Friday officers were called to a report of a one-car crash involving a blue Ford Fiesta on the A94 near Blairgowrie.
“There were no reports of any injuries and the road was closed to facilitate vehicle recovery but has now fully reopened.
“Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information or relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 1102 of June 17.”
