The Black Watch Museum’s replica First World War trench has opened to the general public for the first time.
It offers visitors to Perth’s Balhousie Castle the opportunity to step into the world of Scotland’s soldiers and gain an insight into trench warfare.
The attraction will initially be open until January 8, from 1pm to 3pm each day, with the museum team on hand to share their knowledge.
The trench is the first of its kind in Scotland and will be a focal point for events in the years to come.
