An 80-year-old woman who was struck by a car on the outskirts of Perth has died in hospital. Mary Lawson suffered serious head and leg injuries in the collision on the A94, near her home at Gannochy, on Tuesday, January 3. She was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed that Ms Lawson had “succumbed to her injuries and sadly died” on Sunday. “A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal,” he said.
