A 77-year-old woman is still in hospital recovering from a broken leg after a road accident in Perthshire.
Police have confirmed that the woman is being treated in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, following the one-vehicle accident which took place at 12.50pm on Friday, on the A85 Perth to Crieff road, near Fowlis Wester.
The woman had to be cut free from her Vauxhall Agila car by firefighters and was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
On Sunday, a police spokesperson said the 77-year-old woman was still in hospital, where she is receiving medical treatment for a broken leg.
The A85 between Main Street, Methven, and the turn-off for the A822 Gilmerton road, was closed for three hours on Friday to allow emergency crews to attend at the incident, and also for accident investigators to examine the scene.
