Traffic is building on the A9 in Perthshire following an accident between an HGV and a car near Birnam.
The northbound carriageway of the Perth to Inverness road has been blocked as a result of the crash.
Police Scotland said no-one had been injured, but that disruption was likely for some time until the vehicles can be recovered.
Road traffic units are currently holding motorists away from the site of the accident, which took place at around 2.45pm.
Emergency services have been unable to say how long it will be until the road is clear.
Motorists are advised to “approach the area with care” and “expect longer than normal travel times”.
