The occupants of a car had a lucky escape after it left a rural road and entered a loch in Highland Perthshire.
The incident took place around 1.30pm on Sunday on the A826 Crieff to Aberfeldy road, near Loch na Craige.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they sent one unit to the scene but stated the occupants of the car had managed to leave the vehicle prior to their arrival.
“We received a phone call to say a car had left the A826 road and entered the edge of the loch,” he said.
“However, when firefighters arrived they confirmed the two people were out of the car with no persons trapped.”
And a spokesperson for Police Scotland added: “The car occupants managed to get out of the vehicle just as it entered the loch and didn’t suffer any serious injury.
“It was a one-vehicle incident.”
