Police have confirmed that a person has died following a multi-vehicle crash on the A9 near Dunkeld.
The road was shut in both directions following the crash.
Multiple emergency services were called to the scene including police and firefighters.
The incident was reported just after noon on Friday.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the road had re-opened on both sides at 7.35pm, over seven hours after the closure.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to a report of a two-car crash on the A9 near Dunkeld around 12.05pm on Friday.
“Emergency services attended, however, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Two people were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee by ambulance and air ambulance.”
