A man has been charged in connection with the death of a Perthshire toddler, police have confirmed.
Two-year-old Harlow Edwards was knocked down and killed as she walked along Forfar Road, on the edge of Coupar Angus, on October 13, last year.
The tragedy prompted calls for extra safety measures along the busy stretch.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm that a 23-year-old has been charged in connection with a fatal road traffic collision on the A94 Forfar Road at is junction with Larghan Park, Coupar Angus, on October 13, 2016.
“A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
