Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver in Perth who smashed into a parked car, flipped their own, and fled the scene.
The crash happened on Rannoch Road just before 10am on Friday, when police attended to find an overturned car with no driver in sight.
One witness said a large crowd of onlookers had gathered when the driver made off.
He said: “It was quite spectacular.
“The roof of the car was very badly bashed in.
“There were police at the scene and quite a crowd of onlookers.
“There was no ambulance – one may have been and gone.
“It happened just up from the junction for Kingswell Terrace on a part of the road known as Goodlyburn Terrace.”
Another onlooker said the road was partially blocked with debris scattered across a wide area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received reports of a car having struck a parked car on Rannoch Road in Perth around 9.45am on Friday.
“There was no-one in the car upon the arrival of officers.
“Inquiries are ongoing to trace the driver.”
