Emergency services rushed to the A9 on Sunday morning after a car caught fire.
Two fire engines from Perth made their way to Tibbermore shortly before 11am following reports of a vehicle crash.
However it transpired that the vehicle had not crashed but was ablaze.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to the top of Cairnie Braes at Tibbermore at 10.59am.
“It was initially reported as an RTC but it turned out it was a vehicle on fire.
“Two crews from Perth were in attendance and extinguished the fire using a hose reel.”
