It is part of Perth’s winter festival 2022.

Festivities will take place throughout the afternoon in the following locations.

The highlight of the lights switch-on is the main stage entertainment hosted this year by Britain’s Got Talent presenter Stephen Mulhern and entertainer Lionel Vinyl.

There will be live music all day, with German dance act Cascada headlining. The group, who reached international fame with song ‘Everytime We Touch‘, comprises Natalie Horler, Yann Peifer and Manuel Reuter.

The annual Christmas Parade will leave Thimblerow Car Park at 5.30pm, weaving its way through the city centre to the main stage on Tay Street.

As always, Perth Theatre’s panto dame will lead the way with Santa.

Local dance schools, community groups, and festive characters will be joining in the fun.

Community Stage at Horsecross Plaza
