One of the highlights of the Perform in Perth music festival, the large bands and orchestras, takes to the stage of Perth Concert Hall today.
The evening, starting at 6pm, has been sponsored by the Creative Communities Fund.
“I hope we have a very full auditorium, we normally do, “ said festival secretary Michael Jameson.
“We are looking forward to the biggest crowd of the festival.”
Saturday, the midpoint of the two-week long 93rd Perthshire Musical (Competition) Festival, was given over to piano classes in the assembly hall of the North Inch Community Campus.
On Tuesday, the festival continues during the day in St Leonard’s-in-the-Fields Church with flute, oboe, saxophone and clarinet solo classes.
