One lane of the M90 will be closed at the Friarton Bridge, on the edge of Perth, for emergency repairs.
The work will be carried out next month and requires a northbound lane closure.
The lane will be shut on December 5 between 9.30am and 3.30pm and for overnight works from Tuesday December 6, lasting three nights.
Overnight closures will be in place between 7.30pm and 5.30am.
Leak ‘a risk’ to Dundee to Perth mainline
Amey, carrying out the work on behalf of Transport Scotland, says the repairs are necessary to fix a leaking pipe causing a risk to the railway line between Perth and Dundee.
A statement said:Â “Work will include an inspection of the bridge expansion joints on Monday, December 5, followed by teams working overnight to carry out the necessary drainage repairs to the carrier pipes underneath the bridge.”
All entry and exit slips near the bridge also to remain open.
