The A94 has been fully reopened after a crash involved two lorries.
The incident – which took place shortly after 6pm on Thursday – blocked the dual carriageway in both directions at Balbeggie.
Emergency services were called to the scene and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
The road was reopened at around 10pm.
Police confirmed on Friday there were no reported injuries and the drivers exchanged details.
No reported injuries
A spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the crash involving two lorries on the A94 near Balbeggie shortly after 6pm.
“There are no reported injuries.”
Meanwhile it has emerged that two people were injured in a separate collision on the same road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a crash involving two cars on the A94 near Balbeggie around 5.50pm on Thursday.
“Two people were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment and the vehicles were recovered.”
