Detectives are investigating after a car was stolen from outside a Perthshire home.
The keys to a white Volkswagen Golf R were stolen when a man broke into a home on Feddal Road, Braco, in the early hours of Thursday.
Officers believe the incident took place between 3.15am and 3.30am and may have involved a second person who waited outside the address.
The car, registration E1 RGG, was then driven off in the direction of Front Street.
Description of suspect
One of the suspects is described as about 5ft 10in tall and of slim build, and was wearing a dark hooded top and light grey trousers.
Launching an appeal for information, DC Jennifer Doe highlighted the vehicle’s distinctive 19in alloys and Akrapovic exhaust.
The Perth CID officer said: “The householders have been left incredibly shaken by this incident and I would urge anyone who saw what happened or anyone with information to come forward.
“Inquiries are ongoing into the movements of the car after it left the area. It’s very distinctive and I would ask the public to keep an eye out for it.
CCTV appeal
“The registration may have changed but aesthetically it will be recognisable with 19in alloys and an Akrapovic exhaust.”
DC Roe has also asked locals with CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the relevant time to review it and report anything of significance to police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 0298 of November 24 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
