Thieves have stolen a centuries-old Greek god sculpture from a house in Perthshire.
The neo-classical marble bust of Apollo, the god of music, was snatched from the grounds of a Crieff property sometime in April.
The bust, which dates back to the 18th century, is around 2ft 6in tall.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The bust is extremely heavy and would have required at least two people to move it.”
The theft comes just days after a £3,000 African tribal artwork was snatched from the garden of a house in Alyth.
The six-foot “Shona” sculpture – which resembles a female figure and is made of black stone – is said to be unique.
Anyone with information about the stolen bust – or the Shona piece – and its whereabouts is urged to call police on 101 or freephone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
