The talented young members of a choir from Perth’s Tulloch Primary have become Scotland’s Primary Schools Glee Choir Challenge champions.
Eighty-one schools from Dundee, Falkirk, Fife, Perth and Kinross and Stirling, Aberdeen and Edinburgh started in the competition in February.
Seven eventually made it through to the Scottish final, which saw Tulloch triumph at Perth Concert Hall with their mix of One Republic’s “Counting Stars” and “Revolting Children” from the musical Matilda.
Perth and Kinross Council lifelong learning convener, Councillor Caroline Shiers, said: “I was at the Perth finals and was hugely impressed at their professional and confident performance. It was as good as any West End Show.
“The pupils and teachers involved should be so proud of what they have achieved.”
