The A9 at Dunkeld was partially blocked after a two-vehicle collision.
The incident took place between Bankfoot and Dunkeld at around 4.30pm.
Emergency services were at the scene, with police confirming one man had been injured.
Traffic Scotland stated that traffic was building in the area, before congestion began to ease at around 6.20pm.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 4.10pm on Monday, 28 August 2023, police received a report of a road crash involving two vehicles on the A9 south of Dunkeld.
“Emergency services are in attendance and one man has been injured.”
