A male biker has died following a collision with a car in Highland Perthshire.
The incident happened around 8.30pm on Saturday on the B8079 road near Blair Atholl.
Police Scotland has now confirmed that the 51-year-old male motorcyclist has died following the accident.
His name has not yet been released by police.
The road was closed overnight, eventually re-opening around 5.30am on Sunday,to allow accident investigators to carry out their work.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a man was taken to Perth Royal Infirmary after a car left the A85 road at Comrie Croft.
The incident took place at 5.51am on Sunday when the vehicle left the road.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they had asked BEAR Scotland to remove diesel from the road.
