Perth was awash with tartan as the participants in an annual event flooded the North Inch.
More than 300 people took part in the Touch of Tartan half marathon on Saturday which started at Scone airport and finished at the Inch.
It was a colourful spectacle as everyone was required to wear something tartan from a piece of ribbon to a head band to take part.
For the 5k which followed on from the half marathon — some brave souls even took part in both — the sartorial stakes were upped with many donning full kilts.
