A man is due to appear in court after a “bladed weapon” attack in a Perthshire town.
Three people were injured in the assault at a house in Auchterarder on Friday evening.
A 32-year-old man suffered a chest injury, while another man, 33, and a 34-year-old woman were also hurt.
All three were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee following the incident, which happened at around 7pm. Their injuries were not said to be life-threatening.
Police Scotland said a 29-year-old man was in custody and was due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court in relation with the incident on Monday.
A force spokesman said: “None of the injuries sustained are life threatening and Police Scotland would like to stress that this is an isolated incident with no suspects outstanding and there is no threat to the public.”
