Firefighters rescued a horse that had become stuck in a ditch in the Carse of Gowrie.
Fire crew arrived at Ballindean House, Inchture, around 2.02pm on Saturday after receiving a call about the incident.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters used heavy rescue equipment, including a winch, and two pumps to free the animal.
She also confirmed that a vet was in attendance at the scene to check the horse’s condition during the rescue.
