A prisoner accused of escaping from Castle Huntly has been traced by police.
Martin Jackson was reported missing from the jail near Dundee at around 6.30pm on Wednesday.
Members of the public had been warned not to approach the 33-year-old.
He was believed to have connections in Ayr and Cumbria.
Police Scotland confirmed he is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.
