Police in Perth are appealing for information after a house was “rummaged” by thieves.
A break-in took place at a property in Linton Terrace between 7pm and 9.30pm on Saturday.
A police spokesperson said: “A double-glazed door at the rear of the house was smashed and entry gained. Although it doesn’t appear anything was taken, various rooms were rummaged through and considerable disturbance caused to the house, which was obviously distressing for the residents.
“It’s possible that the person(s) responsible may have gone through neighbouring gardens going to or from the house in question.”
Anyone with information on the incident should phone police on 101.
