Thieves have made off with a four-figure sum after raiding a roadside sandwich shop.
The Subway on the A9 near Braco was targeted sometime between 2am and 5am on Monday morning .
The premises were broken into and a safe containing the cash, along with some electronic equipment, were stolen.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Even at that time of the morning, the A9 is a busy road, and it is hoped that someone driving past may have seen persons acting suspiciously there, or even a vehicle which seemed out of place.”
