Motorists are experiencing lengthy delays following a three vehicle accident on the M90 in Kinross-shire.
They collided on the southbound carriageway shortly after 2pm on the approach to roadworks that were already causing major disruption.
Significant queues have built up and drivers are urged to exercise caution when approaching the area.
Police Scotland said ambulance crews were treating two casualties at the scene.
No-one appears to have been seriously injured but it may be some time before the accident is cleared.
Emergency services are still on the scene and vehicles have yet to be recovered.
Scottish Fire and Rescue attended to make the vehicles safe.
