Perth Theatre re-opened its doors to the public today after a four-year refurbishment.
The Edwardian building in Perth’s High Street has undergone a £16.6 million revamp.
Visitors will have the opportunity on Monday to view the box office, café and bar when they enter through the building’s Mill Street entrance for the first time.
The theatre will be holding an open house on Saturday from noon until 5pm, which will include a chance to learn about the venue’s history along with various events such as storytelling and a giant visitor book for people to sign.
Gwilym Gibbons, chief executive of Horsecross Arts, the creative organisation behind Perth Theatre and Perth Concert Hall, said: “This is an incredibly exciting moment. The Perth Theatre transformation has secured the future of one of Scotland’s most historic and culturally significant landmarks for many generations to enjoy.”
