A woman has been freed from her car following a collision with a lorry on the A93 at Beech Hedge.
The accident happened around 8am on Tuesday on the southbound side of the Blairgowrie to Perth road near Meikelour.
A police spokesperson confirmed that a lorry and a car had been involved in a collision.
“A lorry and car were involved in an accident whereby both vehicles ended up in the hedge,” he said.
“The lorry driver was uninjured and the female driver of the car has minor injuries.
The road closed as a result of the accident.
A spokesperson for SFRS said firefighters from Perth used cutting equipment to free the woman from her car.
She was then taken to hospital by ambulance but her injuries were not thought to be serious.
The road re-opened around 10.15pm.
