The female driver of a car and her 11-year-old son had a lucky escape when their vehicle tipped over on the M90.
The incident took place around 7.40am on Friday on the southbound carriageway of the Perth to Inverkeithing motorway near Glenfarg.
A police spokesperson said: “A car had overturned and ended up on its roof on the southbound M90 near Glenfarg.
“The female driver of the Fiat 500 vehicle and her 11-year-old son both managed to get out of the vehicle.
“The woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries, and fortunately no one was seriously injured.”
A lane closure was put in place to allow recovery of the car. The road fully re-opened just after 9am.
