A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged by police following an alleged assault in Blairgowrie.
Police have confirmed that they attended at an address in Glenalmond Road, Rattray, Blairgowrie, around 8.45pm on Monday, following reports of a man having been injured with a knife.
A police spokesperson said: “As a result, a 49-year-old man has been charged with the alleged assault of a 54-year-old man.
“This was an isolated incident, and there was no threat to the wider public.”
The man is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Wednesday in connection with the incident.
