Mystery surrounded the arrival of a large film unit in rural Perthshire.
More than a dozen mobile homes provided by a film location company appeared on Tuesday on a farm on the Stanley to Blairgowrie road near to Ballathie.
Security staff were patrolling the perimeter and were tight-lipped and refused to be drawn on what was being filmed.
A nearby road pinpointed by location signs was also closed off and again guarded by security staff.
Local speculation was that it was the latest local filming for the US television series Outlander.
They recently filmed scenes in Market Park in Crieff and Perthshire has previously featured with the grounds of Drummond Castle, Rannoch moor and the interior of Tibbermore Church used as locations in the series.
Other Courier Country locations to have featured in the show  include Aberdour and Balgonie castles, Falkland, Culross and Dysart Harbour.
