Police are hunting crooks who smashed their way into a rural Perthshire filling station.
Thieves targeted the Almondbank outlet, on the outskirts of Perth, just before midnight on Friday.
They broken through a kiosk window and grabbed armfuls of cigarettes. Investigators believe they also took a sum of money.
The Crieff Road filling station, at Huntingtower, was closed on Saturday morning for repairs.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were called to the area at 11.49pm on Friday.
“One of the windows had been forced open and a quantity of cigarettes was taken. There may also have been some money taken, but we are still waiting to get this confirmed.”
He said a keyholder was called to secure the premises.
Police are reviewing CCTV cameras around the area and have asked any witnesses to get in touch on the 101 non-emergency number of freephone Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
