Two drivers escaped serious injury after an early morning smash on the A9.
The accident happened north of Blair Atholl, near House of Bruar, in the early hours of Saturday.
A lorry travelling south was involved in a head-on collision with a northbound car, Police Scotland said.
The lorry ended up in a ditch, blocking the carriageway. Its driver suffered slight facial injuries.
Both motorists were taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Police confirmed neither man suffered serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 2.30am. One lane of the A9 was re-opened at 4.30pm as the vehicles were being recovered. The route was fully opened two hours later.
